
2025 SPPS STAFF RECOGNITION - Saint Peter Public Schools hosted its annual Staff Recognition Reception on Wednesday afternoon at the SPHS Commons. This is the event where school officials honor the Distinguished Service Award winners, those staff members retiring at the end of the school year, and those who have achieved 25 years of service.
This year's honorees include:
Distinguished Service Award: Dr. Jeff Olson (Saint Peter Interim Superintendent and long-time past SPPS administrator, teacher, and coach) and Nickl Rozsa (long-time North Elementary media center support, para, and kitchen support).
Retirees: SPHS - Kris Glidden (PE/Health teacher), Kelly Jensen (SPHS social worker), George Schoenborn (Business Ed teacher), and Christa Herr (paraprofessional); North Elementary - Mike Keller (Custodian) and Nick Rozsa (Support staff); and South Elementary - Heidi Wenner (Kindergarten teacher), Ann Braun (paraprofessional), and Barb Franchino (paraprofessional).
25-years of Service - SPHS - Kurt Moelter (Math teacher); SPMS - Connie Brezina (Special Education); Early Childhood - Helen Hager (paraprofessional).
Before the reception, several members of the SPHS Concert Choir entertained the large crowd with some vocal selections.

VEHICLE FAIR POSTPONED - Due to the predicted rain for later today, the Early Childhood Vehicle Fair that was scheduled tonight (Thursday) at the Early Childhood Center is postponed until next Thursday, May 8, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. We hope you can join us then for this fun event!


ECFE VEHICLE FAIR INFO - Saint Peter Early Childhood Family Education's annual ECFE Vehicle Fair is set for 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, in the Early Childhood Center parking lot (100 Lincoln Drive/Broadway Avenue entrance). See the accompanying flyer for more details!

* YOUNG EXPLORERS CLASS - open for children who are 3 years old, but not yet 4 by September 1, 2025, and who are toilet trained.

Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday mornings from 8:15-10:45. OR
Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:15-10:45.
* DISCOVERY DAYS CLASS - for children who are 4 years old, but not yet 5 by September 1, 2025 and who are toilet trained.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 8:00-10:45. OR

KINDERGARTEN OPEN HOUSE SET FOR TUESDAY! A reminder that South Elementary will host its annual Kindergarten Open House tomorrow (March 4) from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The makeup date is Tuesday, March 11.
All incoming kindergarteners (age 5 by September 1, 2025) are invited to attend this special sneak peek. The evening will allow students and families to meet the South staff, check out the building, and learn about the exciting things happening in our kindergarten program!

SAINTS BUS SERVICE STUDENT REGISTRATION 2022-2023
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED THIS FORM FOR THE 2022-23 SCHOOL YEAR, PLEASE DON'T SUBMIT ANOTHER.
All Saint Peter Public School students must be registered in order to ride the school bus for the 2022-2023 school year. Accurate and timely information is important each year to establish bus routes. THIS FORM MUST BE SUBMITTED IN ORDER FOR YOUR QUALIFYING STUDENT TO RIDE THE SCHOOL BUS.
Qualifying students must live outside of a ONE-mile radius of the school in which they are attending in order to be granted riding privileges. Riding privileges CANNOT be guaranteed for the start of the school year if this form isn't submitted by the end of the day on JULY 29, 2022. Completed forms must be submitted for EACH STUDENT planning to ride the bus to school.
