Several members of the Saint Peter High School band took part in the Section 2AA Solo & Ensemble Contest yesterday (Wednesday) at Gustavus Adolphus College here in St. Peter.

“Every SPHS group that competed, and received a rating at sections, earned a Superior rating,” Dave Haugh, SPHS band director, said.

SPHS Jazz Ensemble – 37 (out of 40 rating)
Clarinet Duet (Sada Harmes & Elijah Cherland Narum) – 36
Trumpet quintet (Callum Harmes, Kaiser Hagen, Carl Jenkins, Ezekiel Ribar & Ian Dorow) - 35
Percussion ensemble (Ethan Borowy, Everett Pettis, Courtney Domras, Gabi DeVos, Skyler Christensen, Malcolm McHugh, Melina Chadwick, Annika Magelee & Tobias Twait) - 37
