As part of Teacher Appreciation Week activities, South Elementary families were invited to write fun tributes to their favorite teachers using Mad Libs, which were then posted around the building.
Mad Libs is a popular word game in which one player prompts others for a list of words—such as nouns, verbs, adjectives, or exclamations—to fill in blanks in a story that has not yet been read. The resulting story, once read aloud, is usually ridiculous, nonsensical, and humorous.
According to Principal Jana Sykora, South has had 48 families participate so far, and "some of them are hilarious!" Here is a quick look at the fun way South families are honoring teachers this week!
