South Elementary’s Wild About Kindergarten Open House event drew a large crowd on Thursday (Feb. 29)
This event was open to students (who will be age 5 by September 1, 2024) and their families. Those attending had the opportunity to meet with South staff, check out the building, and learn about the exciting things happening in our kindergarten program.
“We had 73 students and their families attend our event,” South Principal Doreen Oelke said. “It is a great opportunity to showcase the wonderful things that are happening at South Elementary. Families took a self-guided tour and explored a kindergarten classroom, library, imagination stations, art, music, STEAM and PE areas, had a snack & took a bus ride.
