North Elementary’s Kindness Crew members are visiting each classroom over the next few days to teach their fellow students about perseverance. The Kindness Crew members lead a series of group and small group activities and games during these 10-minute visits at the start of the school day.
“Every month the Kindness Crew goes into the classrooms to help teach the theme of the month, and this month’s theme is perseverance,” Niki Zitur, North’s Kindness Crew advisor and fourth grade teacher, said. “The group goes in and runs one of the relationship-building games from our SEL curriculum, Character Strong.”
