North Student Council drive

North Elementary's Student Council will team up with Partners for Affordable Housing to host a drive at school during the week of December 8-12, benefiting people in need at our local homeless shelter. Join them in making a difference in the lives of families experiencing housing barriers.

Trisha Anderson from Partners for Affordable Housing met with the North Student Council recently to provide the students with more information on the drive. She shared the mission of Partners and how they serve local families in need. Partners has three shelters that they operate between St. Peter and Mankato. All donations will go to our local St. Peter shelter to benefit our community. Please see the accompanying flyer for more details on the drive, including the Wish List Items (new items only) that are being sought. In addition, the shelter will take dog and cat food, non expired non-perishable food items, new pots and pans. (See poster below for more details.)

If you would like to donate, please bring items to the North Elementary office or send them to school with your North student. If you have any questions about the drive please contact Mandy Kennedy (mkennedy2@stpeterschools.org) or Alyssa Weller (aweller@stpeterschools.org) at North Elementary.
