Congratulations to Saint Peter High School sophomore Quinn Rassbach for receiving the KNUJ’s Hometown Hero award for her work with the North’s Clothes Closet warm clothing drive for the past six years.
Rassbach started North's Clothes Closet when she was a fourth grader at North Elementary and it continues to this day. She was presented with the award certificate by SPHS Principal Annette Engeldinger on Wednesday (Nov. 29) morning (shown in the photo above). The award also included a $50 gift certificate from Hy-Vee.
The Hometown Hero award is a collaboration between 860 AM KNUJ/97.3 FM/SAM 107.3 and Hy-Vee in their efforts to acknowledge those in area communities, neighborhoods, or organizations that give the most precious gift – their time, to worthwhile causes while helping those less fortunate or rescuing efforts in an emergency situation.
