Quinn Rassbach with collection bin

Saint Peter High School Sophomore Quinn Rassbach has been giving back to the St. Peter community and bringing it together since she was in fourth grade. During those six years, she has taken the time and initiative to create a clothing drive (North’s Clothes Closet) for those in need of warm clothes during the cold winter months.

When the fall chill sets in, Quinn gathers her crew and places gift-wrapped boxes at each school for students, parents, faculty, and citizens to leave clean, gently used, or new clothing. Donations such as coats, snow pants, hats, gloves, long pants, and long-sleeved shirts are all needed and greatly appreciated. Quinn asks that all items be placed in these bins by Thursday, November 16th in order to prepare for Friday’s Clothing Closet Debut!

“The biggest reward for me comes during the event when I see people looking through clothes with their families and getting what they need. There is no better feeling than seeing that what you’ve done has helped people even a little bit.” Rassbach said. “My hope for North’s Clothes Closet after I graduate is that it continues to happen annually since there are always people can help!”

Quinn shares the enthusiasm for this drive with those around her, spreading the word wherever and however she is able to. In regards to sharing this event, she says the fliers are sent home at specific schools, along with information on TV screens around each campus, and through announcements. “Everyone is welcome!”.

This phenomenal sophomore has only just begun a journey of community service and support; St. Peter is grateful for a trailblazer like Quinn Rassbach.
