North/EC staff member to compete in 'Dancing Like The Stars' event

Mandy Kennedy, who works with North Elementary’s Student Support Services and Early Childhood, and her husband Cullen Kennedy will represent St. Peter/Nicollet County as one of the 12 Dancing Like the Stars couples for the 2B Continued fundraiser for teen suicide prevention and mental health education.

The gala will be held at the Glencoe City Center on Friday, April 13, at 5:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale this Sunday. The Kennedys will be fundraising for this event to benefit the 2BContinued program that is currently being implemented at many area schools, including our St. Peter High School.

Proceeds are used to carry out the organization's mission to increase awareness of suicide prevention, mental health & wellness through advocacy, education and outreach. The Kennedys have already sold out ticket for their section, but general admission tickets are still available at the following link → Kennedy Fundraising/Ticket Sales Page.

The Kennedys, along with the other 11 couples, are working with a professional choreographer to learn a dance routine to participate in the friendly dance competition which raises money for the 2BContinued organization and awareness of the group’s mission.
