SPHS names Triple A Award winners

Above, SPHS seniors Ian Gerstbauer and Adrianna Bixby are this year’s winners of the school’s Triple A Award.

Saint Peter High School seniors Adrianna Bixby and Ian Gerstbauer were recently announced as the school’s 2022-23 Triple A (Academics, Arts, and Athletics) Award winners.

“Adrianna  and Ian are wonderful selections for the Triple A Award to represent Saint Peter High School,” SPHS Activities Director Shea Roehrkasse said. “Both truly embrace the term student-athlete and are great leaders in our school community, and both were also our ExCEL Award winners last year! Adrianna and Ian involve themselves in a variety of ways within our school, they push themselves in the classroom, take challenges head on, and find ways to be involved in all aspects of our school. Congratulations to both of them on a well-deserved award!”

The Minnesota State High School League’s Triple A Award goes to high school seniors who have a “B” or better grade point average (GPA) and participate in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities. Triple "A" Award recipients are selected by a multi-level process involving the League's member schools and administrative regions.
