New leaders begin first year in charge of the warm-clothing drive after founder graduates
North's Quinn’s Closet warm-clothing drive, the brainchild of 2026 Saint Peter High School graduate Quinn Rassbach when she was a fourth grader at North Elementary, enters its new era in leadership this year. The new leadership team, of SPHS sophomores Himalaya Harrison, Maya Knutson, and Anya Stoll, has already been busy getting this year’s campaign underway.

Donations will be accepted through the end of the school day on Monday, Nov. 9, and then Quinn’s Closet at North will be open from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 10, at the North Elementary gym.
Collection bins have been set up at SPHS, Saint Peter Middle School, North Elementary, South Elementary, and the Saint Peter Public Library. Organizers are now accepting clothing donations, including clean, new, or gently used items such as hats, mittens, snow pants, jackets, long pants, and long-sleeved shirts. The group also accepts monetary donations, and those proceeds will be used to purchase much-needed clothes. In the past few years, the group has also been accepting donations such as books, toys, and school supplies.
“This is a very meaningful event for the community,” Harrison said. “I am so grateful we are able to serve so many families.”
“I can't wait for the day of Quinn's Closet,” Knutson said. “It is so much fun when everyone gets together to make the community better.”
“I am so grateful to be able to give back to my community, especially after everything they have done for others,” Stoll said. “And I’m so excited to see where this event goes and help as many people as we can.”
Once the collection is complete, a group of SPHS student volunteers, led by the three-person leadership team, will help set up the donated items at the gym for the event, where families in need will be able to select warm clothing items for their young ones or other donated items.
