Best of luck to the Saints’ Kade Mata and Owen Matejcek as they compete in the Minnesota State Class AA Boys Golf Tournament on Tuesday morning at Ridges at Sand Creek (Jordan).
Matejcek, who is making his third straight state appearance for the Saints, tees off at 7:48 a.m. in the Class AA meet, while Mata, a state tourney newcomer, isn’t too far behind with an 8:06 a.m. tee time to kick off the opening round of the state meet. Mata won the Section 2AA individual title last week. The Saints are coached by long-time head coach Neil Doose.
