Students at South Elementary (gr. K-1) are participating in various Winter Solstice Day activities today (Thursday). The event kicked off this morning with Winter Solstice Bingo, featuring the Bingo-calling talents of the school's Snow Queen (aka Principal Doreen Oelke)!
Other Winter Solstice Day-themed activities taking place throughout the day included Winter Stories (Mrs. Bly’s room), Winter Dance Party (media center), Indoor Snow Play (small SOT room), and snack time in the cafeteria.
