SPHS Senior Awards program

(ABOVE) SPHS senior Nobras SayidNour received the prestigious Al and Cathy Annexstad Hope and Inspiration during Sunday's annual Senior Awards program at the SPHS Performing Arts Center.

Saint Peter High School hosted its annual Senior Awards and Recognition program, which was held at the Performing Arts Center on Sunday, May 21.Seniors were honored for their efforts in three main areas – Achievement Awards, Academic Honors, and Scholarships. 

Principal Annette Engeldinger, Saints Activities Director Shea Roehrkasse, and SPHS Counselors Andy Vander Linden and Regina Sirianni presided over the academic achievements and honors portion of the program. Engeldinger also recognized SPHS Student Service office assistant Beckie Strom who helped organize her 25th and final Senior Awards program as she is retiring at the end of the school year.

St. Peter-Kasota Dollars for Scholars representatives Tracey Peymann and Michelle Doose continued the local chapter's generous tradition of presenting 81 scholarships to members of the SPHS Class of 2023 worth more than $66,000. This was the 46th years the St. Peter-Kasota Dollars for Scholars chapter has taken part in this event!

There also were 34 other miscellaneous scholarships presented to several seniors by various presenters.
