As a way of acknowledging Saint Peter Middle School’s amazing staff during some upcoming appreciation days/weeks, the SPMS Student Council is visiting them with their Thank You Cart this week and into the coming weeks.
“The cart has a variety of drinks, chips, and cookies,” Leah Knutson, SPMS Student Council co-advisor, said. “April and May are full of appreciation days so the students thought this was the best way to reach them all! The students help by signing up for one of the many appreciation days.”
SPMS Student Council members are taking turns pushing the cart to those staff members' rooms and offering them a treat and saying “Thanks!” for all they do!
Middle School staff being honored in the coming weeks includes:
- Monday, May 1 is Principal’s Day - “We will also be stopping by to see Mr. Alger (dean) and Ms. Terpstra (planning room supervisor),” Knutson said.
- The week of May 8-12 is Teacher Appreciation Week - “Each day the student council will honor a different grade to reach all the teachers by the end of the week,” Knutson added.
