Ten students from Saint Peter Middle School made the trek over to Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato on Friday to compete in a tournament.
“There were 23 teams made up of 109 students in the competition,” Emilie Kaus, SPMS Math Masters advisor said. “Students competed in three rounds: Fact Drill Round, Individual Round and Team Round. I am so proud of all of their hard work and accomplishments.”
The following is the list of the SPMS teams:
St. Peter Middle School Team 1 - Roba Salim, Himalaya Harrison, Mackynzie Wilmes, Samantha Salzwedel, Otto Staus
St. Peter Middle School Team 2 - Haidyn Kolstad, Bailee Marthaler, Kate Moelter, Bri Syverson, Zac Hall
Fact Drill Round - Samantha Salzwedel, 6th place; Otto Staus 7th place, Kate Moelter 10th place.
Individual Round - Samantha Salzwedel 4th place, Otto Staus 7th place, Haidyn Kolstad 9th place.
Team Round - St. Peter Middle Team 1 - 2nd place and St. Peter Middle Team 2 - 7th place.
